NYIP Adventures Brings Photography Training to Cruise Ships
The New York Institute of Photography has partnered with NYIP Adventures to bring award-winning photography training aboard cruise ships starting in November 2018. A leading provider of photography education for over 100 years, the New York Institute of Photography traditionally offers their courses online in the form of fully accredited, self-paced programs for aspiring professionals worldwide.
These classes for cruise passengers will be based on the New York Institute of Photography’s successful online curriculum. NYIP Adventures packs the New York Institute of Photography’s comprehensive online courses into action-packed, live lessons for guests- both on the ship itself and during excursions on shore.
"For over 100 years, the New York Institute of Photography has been teaching people how to take better photographs,” says Matt Zemon, founder of NYIP Adventures. “We are excited to be able to offer the same high level of instruction to cruise and resort guests in a fun and interactive manner while they are on vacation.”
Currently offering six interactive workshop options, NYIP Adventures gives cruise passengers access to the invaluable knowledge in the New York Institute of Photography’s top programs, paired with the guidance of in-person mentors.
“Taking a photography adventure while you are on vacation really does change the way you see the world,” Zemon continues. “Our small group adventures combine the fun of exploring a new destination with learning how to take better photographs, regardless of the type of camera or smartphone our participants have with them.”
From Sunrise and Sunset Photography to Photo Editing, NYIP Adventures helps passengers capture beautiful shots of their vacation with the direction and in-person guidance of a professional.
“We’re very excited for the opportunity to bring the online lessons of the New York Institute of Photography to life with in-person, interactive workshop experiences,” says NYIP Curriculum Director Keith Gallagher. “Now photography enthusiasts, and even novices, will have the chance to work one-on-one with a mentor as they benefit from our tried and true photography education model.”
