New York Institute of Photography Announces Spanish Language Partner in Latin America

This week, the New York Institute of Photography announced this week that it has signed an agreement with LifeMex, an online education company based in Mexico City, to offer a Spanish-language version of its world renowned Complete Course in Professional Photography in Latin America and Spain.

"Over the years our distance education program has produced many successful photographers, including a Pulitzer Prize winner in the US," said NYIP Director Chuck DeLaney, "and now we are thrilled to have the opportunity to offer that same great photography education to a large majority of the Spanish speaking world."

The NYIP Complete Course in Professional Photography is composed of lessons that teach the art, technique and business of photography. Founded in 1910, NYIP has focused exclusively on distance photography education since 1975 and has trained more photographers than any other school in the world. In addition to using its own unique teaching materials, NYIP has developed a system that features a high-level of student support, with each student having a mentor who will evaluate and comment on all the student's photo projects. Such mentors are professional photographers.

Pablo Preisser, a graduate of NYIP, is the founder of LifeMex. He was in New York last week to sign the agreement. “Latin America is growing faster than any other region of the world, and that economic growth is allowing more people to have internet access,” said Mr. Preisser. “Our agreement with NYIP will allow us to offer the best Professional Photography Course to all Spanish speaking photography lovers, hobbyists and professionals.”
